LAY COUNCIL

MISSION

 

The mission statement of the Washington District Lay Council is to prepare and equip laity for a life of discipleship in the Kingdom of God by maintaining effective ministries that evangelize, encourage and edify the laity. We will work to have an active Lay Council in each of our local churches.

 

OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSE

 

The purpose of this organization shall be to organize the laity of the Washington District to the end that the following objectives may be achieved:

1. Deepen the spiritual life of the Laity;

2. Disseminate information;

3. Cultivate the denominational loyalty,

4. Expand the denomination through education and evangelism

5. Promote any other interest of the Kingdom of God.
