The mission of the Washington District is to empower, enable, and equip its member congregations to recruit, develop, train and nurture credible disciples for our Lord Jesus the Christ.
The Washington District is part of the Mid-Atlantic Episcopal District, Philadelphia and Baltimore Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. The churches within the Washington District are located in
the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia.
